We have a new home since this post went live. Learn more about it here!
Located east of the Saddledome and south of Inglewood at Suite 110, 803 24th Avenue SE, our new office has a rich Calgarian history dating back almost 100 years. We are now located adjacent to Rosso Coffee Roasters in the heart of Ramsay, a historic neighbourhood considered to be the "birthplace of Calgary". The building was originally built by the Dominion Bridge Company and was used as a metal welding facility for a number of Western Canadian bridges built during the 20th century. The brick building and surrounding residential community of Ramsay and Inglewood is now a focal point of The City of Calgary's urban development plans and city planners conceptualize ways to revitalize one of Calgary's oldest working class and industrial neighbourhoods.*
As our office lease came time for renewal this fall, we were at a crossroads for Pump as we grow. We explored ways to remain in our old office but the need for more staff meant the need for more space... so we hit the pavement looking for the perfect character space for our growing team. We came across an open concept office in the Dominion Bridge building in Ramsay just as it was being listed. The space was exactly what our founding partners, Sean and Scott, had envisioned for Pump back when they were freelancing from their basements in 2007. So they jumped on it, negotiated terms and signed a lease that will keep us here for the foreseeable future.
Now that we are all moved in, we'd love if you came by to check out our new digs! Perks include unlimited free parking, delicious fresh Rosso coffee, lots of open space to play with office dog Ellie and the opportunity to be a part of an exciting time in Pump's life... Send us a note and we will see you soon! Sneak peak:
